Protective tape for pipes(outer tape) : Polyethylene is used as the base material which is coated by the liquid butyl rubber film, both of which are pressed and compounded. The film of protective tape is thicker and higher in intensity. Protective tape will protect the pipe and its anti-corrosion tape surface from damages.

The T200 series is cold applied tape coating systems for anticorrosion of field joints, fittings, and specifically piping. The Adhesive is a key in ground performance characteristic coupled with the low and high density polyethylene backing. This kind of tape can be applied by hand or with a wrapping machine.
